"Seek from Jupiter all things that belong to his division, such as requests concerning noblemen, individuals with power, prelates, sages, speakers of the law, judges, good men, interpreters of dreams, hermits, philosophers, Kings and their sons, ..soldiers, first cousins, and petitions of peace and goods." -Picatrix, Book III Chapter VII, Attrell/Porreca
The Jupiter in Sagittarius picatrix image talisman was modeled in hard carver's wax, and lost-wax cast in gold, and electrum [80/20 silver and gold alloy] at 2:31AM EST, on February 27th 2019, in Williamsport PA (43N,77W). The moon applies to a conjunction with Jupiter on the ascendant at 21 Sagittarius; Jupiter dignified by domicile (+5) and triplicity (+3) in his planetary hour. Both Jupiter and the moon free from aspects to malefics.
The image of Jupiter, cast in gold, is a composite of planetary images of jupiter from operations in book II chapter X of the Ghayat Al Hakim aka Picatrix:
“The image of Jupiter, according to the opinion of Apollonius, is the shape of a man sitting on an eagle, wrapped in a cloth, with his feet on the eagles back..”
“Jupiter governs.. chalcedony among stones. If engraved on the day and hour of Jupiter, when the moon is in Sagittarius, with the figure of a man sitting on an eagle with exalted garments, and holding a javelin in his right hand.. whoever carries this [talisman] will be served by the Sons of Men, eagles, vultures, lions, and all the works of Jupiter.”
The image of Jupiter is perched above a globe, set with a cabochon of blue chalcedony, and married to an electrum arch. The back of the talisman is engraved with the planetary character of Jupiter from the Arabic Picatrix.
“Jupiter being powerful, and ruling, it conduceth to gains and riches, favour and love, peace and concord, and to appease enemies, to confirm honours, dignities, and counsels..” Agrippa, Three Books bkII chXXII
The Jupiter in Sagittarius picatrix image talisman includes a 20” silver chain, and arrives in a wax-sealed leatherette pendant box.
*Variants III and IV are offered at a reduced price due to cosmetic imperfections via the electrum alloy portion of the casting.*
