Morning Star Venus in Libra - Planetary Talisman

"If, under the influence of Venus, you make the image of a woman ..in her right hand an apple, and in her left hand a wooden comb.. everyone who carries this image with them will receive good and be liked by everyone." -Picatrix, Book II Chapter X

Morning Star Venus in Libra talisman was modeled in hard carver's wax, and lost-wax cast in two parts the center image cast in copper (the metal of Venus), the setting in fine silver; and both conjoined on the planetary day and hour of venus with a waxing moon in Taurus. The talisman bears a traditional planetary image of venus, a woman holding in her hands an apple and a comb. Surrounding the Lady of Dawn is the planetary glyph of Venus, the glyphs of Kedemel (the spirit of Venus), and Hagiel (the intelligence of Venus); Agrippa's 'characters of Venus' via Bk1 chapter XXXIII. The silver setting around the circumference is inscribed with Song of Solomon 6:10 in "celestial script" - "Who is she that looketh forth as the dawn, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, terrible as an army with banners?"

The Venus in Libra talisman was cast on Oct 23, 2017 at precisely 5:56 am during the planetary hour of Venus. In her morning star phase, Enthroned Venus rises on the ascendant at 11° Libra; dignified by domicile (+5), decan (+1), and is in sect. The waxing moon applies to a partile sextile with Venus from 11° Sagittarius from her decan. Casting was accompanied by Petitions and Suffumigation to Venus, modeled after the those found in the medieval grimoire of astrological magic "Gayat Al Hakim" Picatrix.

"Venus being fortunate, procureth concord, endeth strife, procureth the love, conduceth to conception, is good against barreness, causeth ability for generation, dissolves enchantments, and causeth peace between man, and woman . . . It conduceth to the cure of all melancholy distempers, and causeth joyfulness; and being carryed about travellers make them fortunate." -Agrippa 'Three Books of Occult Philosophy', Bk II ch XXII

The Morning Star Venus in Libra talisman arrives in a black leatherette pendant box. Included is a 20" sterling silver chain.
